GIRLS FIGHT ZONE

As you already should know, this week (Friday 23rd) Netflix will release its series "GLOW", starring Allison Brie , based on the popular 1980s TV show. At that time, it was a reasonable entertainment on broadcast TV, with gorgeous girls in high cut swimsuits (I loved Spanish Red...). Let us see what the mega content provider is bringing to us. What you probably don´t know is the recent release by Netflix of an independent production in the same genre, a movie called "Catfight" (not "A" or "The" but just "Catfight"). The story is about a long term rivalry between two ordinary women that gives the director an opportunity to stage three brawls in 90 minutes. If you are a subscriber, why not give a look on the two? .

The theme of today in the anniversary series is catfight in movies. Vintage ones, of course. They are four: the first one is a Germany soft porn from 1976, "Bienenstich im Liebesnest", followed by "The Erotic Adventures of Zorro" (1972), then "Savage Streets" (1984), with Linda Blair, featuring a staple of catfights: a nude brawl in the shower. The video is finished with the classic prison fight from 1977, "Ilsa, The Wicked Garden", also with a nude shower battle. Everyone as it should be, that is, B movies that knew very well their public.  .
